Exhibition stands
Modular systems and one-off builds for trade fairs. Reusable frames, replaceable graphics, crated for repeat outings.
Helsinki · since 2011
We design, build and install exhibition stands, retail displays and museum casework. The workshop is in Konala; the work travels across the Nordics and into central Europe.
Most of what we build is seen for four days and then taken apart. That shapes how we work: everything is designed to be carried through a service door, assembled by two people, and packed back into the same crates it arrived in.
The rest — vitrines, plinths, storage for collections — is built to the opposite brief. It has to stand still for twenty years without moving a millimetre or off-gassing anything that would trouble a conservator.
Four things, properly, rather than everything badly.
Modular systems and one-off builds for trade fairs. Reusable frames, replaceable graphics, crated for repeat outings.
Shop fittings, window schemes and product plinths. Built to survive being touched by several thousand people a week.
Low-reflection glazing, conservation-grade materials, controlled access. Built for objects that cannot be replaced.
Transport, assembly, on-site adjustment and strike. We do not subcontract this part.
A 96 m² stand in cross-laminated spruce, assembled in eleven hours and dismantled in six. Now on its third outing.
Wall systems and 44 lockable frame trays for a shop that changes its window every three weeks.
Nine sealed cases with silica reservoirs and fibre-optic lighting, for waterlogged timber that had spent 600 years in the Baltic.
“They turned up at seven, and by the time the hall opened the stand looked like it had grown there. The crates were labelled better than our own inventory.”

“We asked for something that would still look right after two winters of people leaning on it. Three years on, it does.”

Send the dates and the floor area. If it is not something we should build, we will usually know within a day and say so.
